Distilled Soya Fatty Acid is used in manufacturing products like paints & varnishes, coatings, plastic and rubber chemicals, resins, etc. Soya fatty acids are used for the obtaining of alkyd resins, through their condensation with glycerin and phthalic acid, in the formulation of paints and varnishes.

Obtained by splitting and the subsequent vacuum distillation of soybean oil. The product obtained has a melting point above 25 ยบ C. Solid yellow or clear fluid at room temperature. Rich in linoleic acid and less in oleic acid.
